Visit the most significant parts of colonial Lima, and which are included in UNESCO's "World Heritage" list. Whilst you drive to the Convento de los Descalzos, built in 1592, you will pass through the historical district of Rimac where you'll see the beautiful Colonial constructions of Paseo de Aguas and Alameda de los Descalzos. Proceed to Casa Aliaga, America’s best preserved colonial mansion, occupied by the same family since 1535. Then see the San Francisco Monastery, an architectural masterpiece. Follow this with a visit to the Jesuit convent of San Pedro, a jewel of the Peruvian baroque style. Later, visit the house that hosts San Marcos University, founded in 1551, the first university in America, and the alma mater of many of America's finest intellectuals and politicians.
For lunch you will be taken to La Rosa Nautica, located in Pier 4 of the Lima Beach Circuit at Miraflores is an elegant Victorian style restaurant that offers an eager public the most complete selection of Peruvian and international cuisine, as well as the most sophisticated bar to be found on the Pacific shores.
After lunch, visit the Larco Herrera Museum. Housed in an 18th century colonial mansion, it has one of the most extensive collection of pre-Columbian art in Peru. It contains fine examples of textile work, (one of which has a world record-breaking 398 threads per inch), as well as the tools ancient Peruvians used to produce textiles, metals, huaco ceramics and gold and silver pieces with semiprecious stones.

Enjoy special tasting of Peru’s world-renowned cuisine. Learn how to prepare Peruvian dishes like: "Cebiche". Get the chance to taste our famous national drink, the Pisco, in a variety of cocktails and presentations.
Afterwards enjoy a buffet lunch that includes the best and most traditional dishes of our Peruvian cuisine, as well as typical drinks. Before returning to your hotel you will have the opportunity to visit a local Boutique, where a wide selection of Peruvian cookbooks and souvenirs are available.

We will transfer you from your hotel to the airport, and provide assistance on your departure flight.
Upon arrival to Cusco, we take a trip to Urubamba, the Sacred Valley of the Incas for the opportunity to haggle with vendors at the typical market of Pisac. Visit the Inca astronomic observatory and walk around the cultivation terraces, renowned for their irrigation system.
After lunch at Sol & Luna, continue to the Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo. The site was built just as the Spaniards arrived and evidence of how it was constructed is still visible. After visiting the site’s magnificent past stroll through the quaint streets of today's town.

Visit the picturesque Andean village of Chinchero. Wander around its colorful Indian market and bargain with vendors for a variety of handicrafts. The main square of the town is bordered by a wall constructed by the Incas, and its church is decorated with unique frescoes on the portico. You'll get a magnificent view of the Urubamba Valley en route, and then continue with a tour of Moray, where the Incas used greenhouse terraces to study and improve their refined farming techniques. Then, on to Maras, a salt production centre that dates back to Colonial times. To this day, the people of Maras produce salt using handmade pans.
Lunch at Casa Hacienda Orihuela, where the Orihuelas, a family of great collectors, will be your hosts. The house has a varied collection of popular and colonial art ceramics, paintings, weapons, photography, ceremonial vessels and the ceramic bulls of Pucara. The environs include a forest of eucalyptus trees and other native species and here the famous giant white corn is cultivated for export.

In the morning you will be taken to the train station to board the train to Machu Picchu.
Upon arrival at Aguas Calientes, you'll be assisted and take a 25-minute coach ride to "The Lost City of the Incas", discovered by American explorer Hiram Bingham in 1911. Then you'll have a guided tour of the marvelous citadel, an awe-inspiring experience. Lunch is included.
Later feel free to stroll in the ruins.

We strongly recommend that you wake up early to see the sunrise over Machu Picchu. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
For hiking enthusiasts, we suggest a climb to the peak of Huayna Picchu. You will have the rest of the day to walk around this magnificent citadel.
In the afternoon, you will return to Ollanta station.
Upon arrival at Ollanta, we will transfer you to your hotel in Cusco by private car.
