We will transfer you from your hotel to the airport, and provide assistance on your departure flight. Upon your arrival you will be transfered to your hotel in the Urubamba Valley, the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We take a trip to Urubamba, the Sacred Valley of the Incas for the opportunity to haggle with vendors at the typical market of Pisac. Visit the Inca astronomic observatory and walk around the cultivation terraces, renowned for their irrigation system. Enjoy lunch at a pleasant hostelry in the countryside and continue to the Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo. The site was built just as the Spaniards arrived and evidence of how it was constructed is still visible. After visiting the site’s magnificent past stroll through the quaint streets of today's town.

Visit the picturesque Andean village of Chinchero. Wander around its colorful Indian market and bargain with vendors for a variety of handicrafts. The main square of the town is bordered by a wall constructed by the Incas, and its church is decorated with unique frescoes on the portico. You'll get a magnificent view of the Urubamba Valley en route, and then continue with a tour of Moray, where the Incas used greenhouse terraces to study and improve their refined farming techniques. Then, on to Maras, a salt production centre that dates back to Colonial times. To this day, the people of Maras produce salt using handmade pans.
Lunch at Casa Hacienda Orihuela, where the Orihuelas, a family of great collectors, will be your hosts. The house has a varied collection of popular and colonial art ceramics, paintings, weapons, photography, ceremonial vessels and the ceramic bulls of Pucara. The environs include a forest of eucalyptus trees and other native species and here the famous giant white corn is cultivated for export.

We will transfer you from the hotel to Ollanta train station. We'll take you to board the train for Machu Picchu. Upon arrival at Aguas Calientes, you'll take a 25-minute coach ride to “The Lost City of the Incas", discovered by American explorer Hiram Bingham in 1911. You'll have a guided tour of the marvelous citadel, visiting the Main Square, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Circular Towers, the Sacred Sun Dial and the Burial Grounds.

We strongly recommend that you wake up early to see the sunrise over Machu Picchu. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. For hiking enthusiasts, we suggest a climb to the peak of Huayna Picchu. In the afternoon, you'll return to Ollanta. Upon arrival at Ollanta, we will transfer you to Cusco.

We take a tour of the city, starting out at the Santo Domingo convent monastery. This former Colonial monastery was previously the Koricancha temple, one of the most important temples devoted to worship of the sun. According to the chronicles, it was covered in gold Leaf and filled with golden representations of nature. Included in the tour are stops at the Plaza de Armas and the Cathedral. After touring the most interesting sites of the city, you will be driven to the countryside outside Cusco to visit some of the remarkable Inca ruins in the area. Included are the cult centre of Sacsayhuaman, the temple and amphitheatre of Kenko, and the Red Fortress of Puca Pucara. Visit the Pre-Columbian Art Museum. This Museum is housed in a beautiful Colonial manor. Its exhibits have been carefully selected for their artistic value. Ceramics, gold, silver, shell and wood artifacts all form part of this collection. After the visit you’ll enjoy a gourmet dinner at the Museum’s restaurant. Here you will have an opportunity to sample the famous novoandine cuisine.
