Accommodation will be provided as per Hotel List above. We have used two different categories of hotels depending on your budget.
Superior Mid range, comfortable hotel accommodation, usually within convenient distance to town/city centre.
Deluxe Upper range of hotel accommodation, usually with a central town or city location.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrive Auckland (30 km)

On arrival at Auckland Airport you are met and transferred to your hotel. (Self-drive passengers collect your rental vehicle for your exclusive use until the end of the tour package).If you have free time on arrival take the opportunity to see the "City of Sails", perhaps a walk around Auckland's bustling marina and waterfront or a city tour.

Day 2 - Auckland / Bay of Islands (250 km)

Journey north via the Hibiscus Coast townships to the beautiful Bay of Islands. Arriving in Paihia, visit the Waitangi Treaty House where New Zealand's most important document of state was signed. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to spend at leisure. (Self-drive passengers are free to explore the many different places of interest in and around the bays)

Day 3 - Day at leisure / Bay of Islands

Today take the opportunity to choose one of the many activities and tours available in this National Maritime Park such as fishing or all kinds of water sports. You could explore further north to Cape Reinga. This is New Zealand's most northerly point offering spectacular views, including the meeting of the Pacific and Tasman seas.

Day 4 - Bay of Islands / Auckland (250 km)

This morning board a luxury catamaran to Cape Brett and cruise through the famous "Hole in the Rock". Return to Paihia via Russell, the first capital of New Zealand. Later this afternoon, farewell the bay and return by coach to Auckland. Arrive Auckland 7.45pm

Day 5 - Depart Auckland (30 km)

A transfer to the airport is included for your departure flight (Self drive passengers return their rental car directly at the airport)
