Day 1 Kota Kinabalu-Kinabalu National Park |
|
This sojourn into the heart of Sabah begins with a mountainous drive to Kinabalu Park, where a treat awaits nature enthusiasts
with a guided jungle trek, visit to the mountain garden and slide show on the Park. Overnight at Park Cabin / Mountain Lodge, or
similar.
Meals: Lunch and dinner.

Day 2 Kinabalu Park-Poring Hot Spring-Sandakan-Sukau |
|
Depart for Sandakan, one of Sabah’s oldest settlements, on the East Coast of Borneo. Enroute, enjoy a stopover at Poring Hot
Springs for a dip in its hot sulphur baths and the thrill of a lifetime, the 41m high canopy walk. Arrive at Sukau in the evening for
dinner and an overnight at Discovery River Lodge.

Day 3 Sukau |
|
Rise early for a cruise to the Ox-bow Lake and venture upon a short jungle trek to appreciate Borneo’s fascinating wildlife. Take
an evening cruise along the Kinabatangan river to catch the impish Proboscis monkeys and other wildlife. Spent one more night
with Mother Nature at Discovery River Lodge.

Day 4 Sukau-Gomantong-Sandakan |
|
Return to Sandakan town, stopping enroute at Gomantong Caves to glimpse amazing swift lets and bats. Gomantong is renowned
for its birds’ nests harvest. Enjoy lunch before a tour of the historic town and an overnight at Sabah Hotel, or similar in Sandakan.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 5 Sandakan-Turtle Island |
|
Swim up to nature, in this next adventure, on arrival at Selingan Island or as it is more popularly known, Turtle Island. Catch huge
turtles come ashore to lay their eggs and help rangers release day-old hatchlings into the sea. Overnight at Basic Chalet on this
island paradise.

Day 6 Turtle Island-Sandakan |
|
Return to Sandakan once more and proceed to the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre in time for the morning feed and a
trek into pristine, protected jungles. Lunch prior to a return flight to Kota Kinabalu or onward flight.
Meals: Breakfast and lunch
What to bring for Mt Kinabalu Park :
Rain-gear, Hat, Sun-block, warm clothing, cotton gloves, torchlight, sturdy walking shoes, a change of clothes. A bottle of
drinking water, energy food and simple first-aid kits for headaches and blisters, etc.
What to bring for Sandakan trips:
Insect repellent, raincoat, sun block, sun hat, comfortable walking shoes, torch light, binoculars, Cotton shirts / pants and personal
items.
