Arrive and transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.

Morning pick up from hotel. This tour includes an overview of the modern city and striking contrasts to the remains of its glorious past. Drive by the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in front of the Parliament House on Constitution Square, the Panathenian Stadium (site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896). See vistas of the Presidential Palace (ex Royal Palace), government buildings and elegant homes. Drive along Panepistimiou Avenue and view the Catholic Cathedral, the Academy, University, National Library and Omonia Square. In contrast, we visit the Roman Temple of Olympian Zeus and the crowning beauty and glory that was Athens, the Acropolis with its many monuments atop its rocky base, including the awesome Parthenon, the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike and the Erechtheion with its Porch of Maidens. Return to hotel around 3pm. Overnight at hotel. (B)

Transfer to the airport or ferry terminal. Afternoon sail to Mykonos where you can spend the afternoon and evening walking along the cobblestone streets, enjoying drinks in a café by the seaside or enjoy the sunset over the harbour. (B)

Arrival into Kusadasi where you have the opportunity to take an optional tour of Ephesus. Lunch time during sailing to Patmos and take an excursion to visit the Monastery and the Cave where John wrote the Revelation. (B,L,D)

Arrival into Rhodes. Spend the full day relaxing on this island. Take an optional excursion through the City of Rhodes and the Temple of Athena. Evening on board the ship. (B,L,D)

Arrive in Heraklion. Morning at leisure or take an optional tour to the Palace of King Minos at Knossos. Afternoon sailing to Santorini, the volcanic Island. Take an afternoon walk through the narrow streets of Thera or visit the beautiful village of Oia for the beautiful panoramic views.

Arrival back to Athens. Disembark after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your onwards flight.
